About Project
THE CLIENT
Swiss Travel System AG is a Zurich based marketing company co-founded in 2011 by Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), Switzerland Tourism (ST) and five private railway companies. Its mission is the joint worldwide marketing of Switzerland’s comprehensive public transport network.
Key tasks include global marketing of Swiss public transport nationwide and the incoming ticket range, as well as the promotion of cross-border travel from Switzerland’s neighbouring countries.
THE PROJECT
The Grand Train Tour of Switzerland is a unique train journey that connects Switzerland’s most panoramic and breathtaking places all in one itinerary.
For this film, the fundamental criteria was to have Switzerland as the main protagonist. The story revolves around an independent business-oriented woman, as she experiences the tour and it’s comforts, while being spectator of beautiful sceneries unfolding outside the window.
With this story, we want to address all people who feel the urge to take a break from their routine, hop on a train and dive into the surreal beauty of Switzerland.
Just as in the case of our traveller, one may run into somebody special with whom the journey becomes a shared pleasure.
The message that comes across, is that a train can be more than just a vehicle taking us to places. It’s a unique opportunity to fully absorb and appreciate the beauty surrounding us.
